Hi Guys,

I need a quick advise from all you experts out there. I am currently in Canada for a 2 yr program since Jan 2014. I now wish to invite my husband over here on spouse work visa. Could you kindly advise if the Tenancy letter needs to be notarized or a normal letter from the leaseholder will be sufficient.

I am currently staying with a friend who is the Leaseholder.

Prompt response will be much appreciated !!!

Regards

why do u need a tenancy letter for spousal open work permit? which country ru from?

I am from India. Well it is one of the documents in the checklist .. I reckon it is as a proof of where the person will be staying while the spouses stay in Canada.

Thanks a ton.
I will follow the checklist .. its just that the consultant my spouse is using has given a checklist with the landlord / leaseholder letter.
