Hello everyone, i hope i can get some help to become a Permanent Resident

1) I'm an International student with work permit expiring in a year
2) I have experience for 2 years working as a Store Manager at a Pizza store
3) My owner is willing to help me out with LMIA
4) Do i have any other way to apply for PR
5) What are the steps to apply for LMIA
6) What are the chances of getting an LMIA
7) How long is the process time for LMIA
8) is there any way i can apply for PR with my work experience

Thanks

IMO, you could go for option 3 since your employer is willing to apply for LMIA. The process can take up to 8 weeks and the chances of getting LMIA approved depends on few factors like where you work, how many Canadians or permanent residents have been employed by your employer and how old the company is. For example, if you work in GTA, your company must have been 5 years old and out of every 5 employees, 4 must have been Canadians or PRs. since your employer is willing to help you out, the chances are most likely to get your LMIA application approved.

My other suggestion would be look for provincial nominee programs such as OINP express entry once it reopens. Good luck!

Through express entry, of course... check out the step by step thread on this forum.

I find it so hard to believe there is absolutely no other local that could be a manager at a pizza store.

Yet, if and when you get the LMIA, you're going to leave people with Masters/PhDs and high skill jobs in the dust.

I'm quite cynical..

i would tend to agree that i cannot see how a pizza store could not find through advertising a local qualified to manage a pizza place, i guess must be a highly skilled profession. Good luck to the OP if it comes off though although I suspect the OP will not hang around long working pizzas once PR achieved.
