Hello,
I would like to address a question as I would love to have an answer to it and some help please..

I was in Canada since 2009 till 2016. I came as an international student and started all the processes of being English student and moved to University to study in the Science field. Unfortunately, I did not completed the program and stopped in 2016 probably I have finished about less than 20 subjects at University. And the reason is because I have some difficulties and issue with family back in my country (cannot say where) but Middle East.

Well, I had to leave Canada and leave University of course due to these circumstances plus my student visa was expired and had just to fly back. I have even did not contact the university to say I am leaving, because I was disbarred.

I am here now in my country since 2016 and I am finding it difficult to be here due to many things so many things!!!

I am willing to go back to Canada and probably be an immigrant and start over again or continue from where I stoped.

My question is?! Will I be able to apply to go to Canada?! And what application I am authorized to apply for?
I am not too sure that University will help me with this case in terms of giving me a letter of acceptance or a letter of being a student so I could use it to apply for student visa..!!! Plus I do not have that much of money to prove I will be able to pay my University for the rest of program.!! I only have enough for myself and could prove enough for traveling to Canada.

Shall I apply for visitor visa.?! And then settle things down later when I get there.!!?

I am not sure and totally lost in this as I wish to find answers and help please.!!

Yes - you can certainly apply to return to Canada. Of course whether you will be approved is a different matter.

If you want to complete your studies, you will need to apply for a study permit and show you have enough funds to cover your studies and living expenses (in addition to travel expenses). You will also need an acceptance letter from a university or college. You will also have to explain why you previously abandoned your studies here and convince IRCC that you are returning as a genuine student. If your funds are low, this most likely isn't a realistic option.

I'm not sure I see the point in applying for a visitor visa if you are interested in remaining here long term. A visitor visa only allows you to visit - not move here or live here or work here or study here. Being in Canada as a visitor will give you no advantages in terms of being able to stay here long term. I'm not sure what you mean by "settling things" once you come here as a visitor. If anything. all you will do is drain your funds.

You should assume a work permit is out of the question. It's next to impossible to find employers willing to go through the LMIA process - which is required for a work permit to be approved.

Likely the best option is for you to dedicate time to researching Canada's immigration programs (start with the Express Entry program) to understand what it will take to qualify and apply to be a permanent resident of Canada. Immigrating requires you to have at least one year of paid full time work experience (typically in a skilled profession) and gives priority to those with higher levels of education and strong language abilities. You will generally need to show that you have the funds required to settle yourself in Canada. For Express Entry, this is around $13,000 for a single person.

Scylla, Thaank you for you replay and I truly appreciate it.

I am not sure how to explain things out to you because I cannot say everything in here. If you wish to help me a bit more we could exchange emails and I will explain things out clearly, so I can have a better view.

Thank you once again...

Sorry - I don't provide private advice (I'm not an immigration consultant or lawyer). I also do not share my email address with people I don't know personally. If you would like private advice, your best option is to look into hiring an immigration lawyer. Good luck.

You should work with a qualified immigration lawyer who is in Canada and stay away from consultants.

I guess that's the right way. May I ask how and what is the better way to find a qualified immigration lawyer. Because so many are out there and I don't know if I could trust any?!
I am sorry if I am asking so much though.!

This forum is paid for by a Canadian immigration lawyer. You can try contacting his team for advice.
