Hello, i need help regarding on choosing a custodian. I am a 15y/o high school student and I want to study in Canada to enhance my education and start my college studies succesfully there. My mother already applied to plenty of jobs in Canada but no response. Therefore I wanted to go by my own. I did almost 6 months of research but I am still left behind. I do not know how to choose a custodian as I do not know anyone in Canada and the homestays I could apply with custodiansips and a place to stay are very expensive to add to my school tuition. The time I am 17 I will start my college studies so I wouldnt need a custodian then. Any response would be of great help, I wish to travel to Canada as soon as possible. Thanks

Either you know someone or you pay someone. You cannot study in Canada at your age without a custodian. If you cannot afford the homestay option, then you should re-think your plan to study in Canada at this point.

Note that you may still need a custodian until you are at least 18 or 19.

Once you are old enough not to need a custodian, you'll still need to show that you have enough money to pay for your living expenses on top of tuition. The amount you must show is at least $10K. So if your tuition is $15K - then you must show a bank balance of at least $25K (preferably more) to get an approved study permit.
