bruh just renew your passport before you apply for study permit. this is the first thing you do months before u apply
But I’ve already applied and my biometrics is next week. What can I do pls? Hope my passport won’t be rejected
Renew your passport then raise a webform to submit the new passport. That’s the only option you have.
Just assume for a moment that you get approval for your current passport, you won’t get visa validity beyond your passport validity. So basically, you would end up with a one month visa only. Again, this is just a “what if” scenario. I am not saying this is what will happen to you. Just explaining the logic.
they won't even issue visa. they stated that passport must have at least have 6 months of validity to be issued visa. + many applicants been asked to renew passports after submissions. he should go renew his passport immediately and update it via webform. his application will be delayed a bit.
the first thing u should do in monday or today is go and renew your passport. once you get your passport update it via webform. passports in my country take up to 2-3 days to be issued. hope you have express passport in your country.
That’s true. I am just explaining to OP the logic why its not feasible with the current passport.
i mean they will take ur fingerprints and photos. they will verify your id with passport. so i don't think it will be a problem if you update your passport later on. remember your applicaiton won't be complete until you do your biometrics since VAC is working in your country.
