Hello all,

I know this isn't the right forum, but I don't see any other place for it.

I want to know approximately how long the process of getting accepted into France is, should I apply next week. What I also want to know is, if i am accepted then how long do I have until that 1yr expires?

Ie I get accepted, look for a job for a year for whatever reason it took long. Does the first entry date typically last more than a year?

Is it something like "expires in 5yrs or

Your question is slightly confusing ‘getting into France’ ? Assume you meant to say applying for the IEC program from France ?

The chances of getting an invite seem very low from France as the quota seems all but exhausted.

Once invited the published processing time is usually around 8 weeks but often less. Once an application is processed then the applicant needs to enter Canada within a year from the port of entry letter issue date.

The actual IEC work permit is issued on arrival in Canada and is valid from that date which for French participants can be upto 24 months to spend in Canada.

Hi does any know what the Employer Obligations are under the International Experience Canada program? Meaning if we offer a job to an employee and they end up leaving in the midst of the employment period?

Thanks
