Hi,
I am an Australian on an IEC visa living in Canada and my IEC visa expires in July. I have re-applied for a second IEC 2yr visa as I am eligible according to the website.

The process seems to have changed slightly and now involves the My CIC questionnaire.
Does anyone know if I am allowed to be living in Canada when I re-apply for my IEC visa???
If I am allowed to be living here, what am I supposed to put in the My CIC questionnaire part about Residency?

I put my Australian postal address (parent's house) on the application that was sent in as it required an Australian address. The WHP site for Australia doesn't mention that you can't be living in Canada or that you have to be living in Australia - it just mentions that you cannot re-apply until 12-weeks before your current visa expires. I have 9 weeks until mine expires now and am getting worried. I am getting stuck on the part in the My CIC questionnaire that asks about currrent 'residency' and then describes that as the current address you are living at (which for me is in Canada).

If anyone has been through this process since it has involved the My CIC questionnaire and was living in Canada I would love to hear how it went for you and if it is possible to do it this way.

Thanks!!!

1. So the application doesn't fail, put your country of residence as Australia, which it is. You are not a residence of Canada you are a visitor.
