Hi,
If you are in India, then search within your city.
But make sure you dont fall pray to any scammers...

I have seen that being in India and applying for jobs does not help that much.
If you are lucky though, you might get some job interview but thats about it...

I faced the same problems and hence telling this.

i am still in india, planning to do my landing in 3-4 months.
i am contacting recruiters both in canada and india. i got a good response from a canadian recruiter, but truth being told.. i must be physically present in canada. are you aware of any job consultancies (reliable) in India who specialize on canadian recruitment?

Well, frankly speaking, I also tried to find such agencies when I was in India but could not.
One thing you can do is try to contact employers in India who have branches in Canada. Apply for a job there and then see how it goes.
But this is a long path...

You are lucky that you got good response from a canadian recruiter while you are in India.
I could not even manage to get 1 satisfactory response when I was in India.

As sad as it sounds, but no one is going to hire anyone who is not already living in Canada! Would you hire a person living in Peru applying for a job in India???

My experience is similar to many of you..but it only got serious when living here. To have a Canadian address and phone number is also very important, it worked for me.
