What is the scope after studying International Business or Global Management in Canada? Where do they get placed and how much are they paid? Is it worth studying it?

In my opinion, if you don't have any knowledge in general business and would like a 2 year PG program to get a 3 year PGWP, then these courses are OK.

Don't expect to get a job in a big financial company or bank. Those kind of jobs require you to have a bcom.

Ultimately it depends on what specialisation you chose, the jobs you cancget depends on that. Don't expect to shoot up to a managerial post if you unless you have prior experience.

No type of degree/diploma/certificate can get you a confirmed job, it depends on how you can market yourself.

All depends on what you are expecting from the degree. As previous poster indicated, it is not a degree that will lead to jobs in finance.

Then better go for MBA or a pg course like marketing, finance or something. You are not going to learn anything new in the first year of IBM or GBM.

If you want a job in a bank or something then these PG courses are not going to help you.

If you are interested in corporate area then MBA is the only option.

Given your BCom you also need to show how the PG will give you new knowledge versus repeat what you have already learned.

No point in applying for those PG. To get a study permit you need to pick a degree that will lead to career advancement.
