Hello!

My girlfriend is coming from Australia to live with me in Quebec with a visitor visa (for now). I cannot add her to my work insurance since we haven't lived 12 months together yet and are not married. The plan is eventually get PR and all that but for now we're stuck with the visitor visa. I'm guessing she will need some kind of private insurance while she has the visitor visa ? Any recommendations?

She can get coverage from Australia before she leaves so tell her to research Australian health coverage plans.

She would also need to qualify for RAMQ before she can be added to your extended benefit plan.
