instead of employer in passport open work permit!

Hello,\
I got a young professional visa from CIC. I crossed the border and I got the visa .... but there is nothing written about the employer (you can only work for this employer with this visa normally!) - instead there is open work permit!!!! ?????????????? That means I could work for any employer anywhere in Canada!
DID they done a mistake ... should I ask CIC or what are your experience?

They should have been for IEC young professional.

I have a young prof work permit too and there's no specific employer mentioned on my wp,
however, they put my field of work on the wp. And on file with CIC, should be a note with the employer
since they had all the information about the employer on our application.
I don't think it's a smart move to switch jobs/employer on a young prof wp.
