Do Local Visa officer do inquiry at work place before sending 2nd AOR or after? I heard they make phone call at work place to make sure that person is working there or not. So inquiry before 2nd AOR or after 2nd AOR?

Thank you.. So, As soon as i get my 2nd AOR I will remind my HR, MD, so they answer them properly. Cuz I read one forum that because of lack of proper answer from company application rejected.

As far as I know they usually contact the current employer.
Probably if the job description of your application NOC fits with the job that you had in the past, the VO will contact that employer also.

hi i am 2007 simplified process case.my documents were requested and submited in november 2011. i have claimed my points for experience for my previous job.i have joined new company which i have mentioned in my my application but not claimed any points for that.i have no updates from chc after i have submitted my docs.i have few questions as follows please help answering.thank you in advance.as i know the backlog cases are still being processed i am hoping for all my checks are done before law comes in effect. ANY CHANCES OF MY CASE TURN FROM IN PROCESS TO DECISION MADE BEFORE BACKLOG LAW COMES INTO EFFECT IF DOCS SUBMITTED IN NOV 2011.


1)how long do they take to check this after documents request.
2) at what stage of application this work experience check is done in simplified process 2007 cases?(is it done simultaneously along with background check)
3)Under what circumstances these experience check is waived.
4) at what stage of application this work experience check is done in simplified process 2007 cases?(is it done simultaneously along with background check).
4) is there anyone where chc never checked their work experience by calling their employers .

1st AOR is also called as PER(positive eligibilty review from CIC,Nova scotia)

2nd AOR is issued by your local VO after it receives file from CIC.

Only after 2 AOR........if the information u provided in ur file is well presented.......they won't call ur current or past employers

Gettin a 2nd AOR means that your file is in queue to be reviewed by a VO and if eligible be further processed

Yes you are right few person who get calls from VO are in hotel (hospitality management) wings as per the threads i have visited...Especially when you have a good working relation with the issuer of reference letter theres nothing to worry can be dicey if you and your employer are in clash....it can be done anytime especially chances are there when your status change from application received to application reviewed...
