Inquiry about study permit.

Hello,

I have done my graduation from India. Now I am in Canada on work permit and looking for some study options, However, my advisor told me if I go for some diploma/advanced diploma courses then I would not get study permit.

Is that true? Kindly help me with this issue.

Chances are low but there is still a possibility. Better to go for Master's
