Hi everyone, right now I am a international student here in Canada. I want to travel to visit my sister in US for just a week, but there is a one single problem.

My mom live illegally in US and she is an undocumented immigrant right now. I'm not sure how long she have been in US but I think around 8-9 years already

and in the US visa application, it ask whether my mother live in US or not. What should I answer ? I mean if I say yes, what reason should I choose (others or don't know?)

Would it be possible to apply for a US visa ? would it be approved or not.

Thanks

I don't think any of us can tell you whether you will be approved or not.

Yes, you can apply.

Yes, you will need to declare that your mother is living in the US. You can select "other".

I would apply soon since processing times are long (specifically, the interview waiting times are long).
