Good day
I am seeking advise.. I had previously posted a question about my situation --- I had received bad advise from my local MP office and misapplied so I have since withdrawn our application and we have sent in my husbands application for visitor visa extension which was approved until April 2016. We were set back at least a year on the whole process as the MP office also checked off on all of our application and approved us sending a DR note as his medical check and a police background check in place of his FBI check, we even did a story with the local news paper regarding our situation and the setbacks...
As we have just received his FBI check and we have also done his medical check recently one question is we were told that we can send off the application without the medical check in it and it will be sent to them directly, is this true?
The main question is just me asking for advise or opinions as Sean (my husband) has been here in the Yukon with me for over a year and we had previously made a post asking for any guidance and we have followed that advise thus far accept that we were urged to apply outland. I had this set in my mind but my husband who is not working has been over thinking things and looking on pages all over Facebook and asking people there, they tell him to apply inland. He might be able to work sooner but he is from America and he is a hairstylist, he needs to take a test by 2017 for his license in order to keep it valid and avoid a fine. I think he is prepared to pay the fine just to get him working but my issue is the processing times for the PR, he could just as easily apply outland and wait a few more months to receive everything, is this correct?
Ok, just one more, if we do decide to apply outland do we have to keep restoring his visitor status or is implied status enough to keep him legal in Canada with the possibility of crossing the boarder?
Any suggestions, tips or additional information that anyone has would be so greatly appreciated.
