Never Gonna Happend That
Hi every one ...I am also One of them who getting tired because of long waiting game and no idea when this game gonna be over..specially 1st stage killing me and making me more tired because nothing to do at home ..i send my application in JULY 24 and Got AOR In Aug ...Now just DEC 20th and CIC site showing prcessing time for first stage 11 months and that's mean another 6 months more to go ..too bored at home but no choice ...well best of luck too every one ...merry Christmas and happy new year to all

Sorry to hear you are finding it difficult. I'm not sponsoring inland, but wondering if you've considered volunteer work? It's a good way to meet new people, gain some 'Canadian work experience' which can help you get a job when your work permit is issued. Plus, it will reduce the boredom. :)

sorry ..I am not interested because i don't have any work permit yet and I don't wanna have any trouble without reason and i am scared from police also ...i am from Singapore and i was working as a electrical engineer in Singapore ..because of my lawyer i am facing this problem, he never told me this gonna take 11 months for 1st stage and 8 months for second stage ..otherwise i gonna choose out land application not inland...by the way thanks for ur advise and may be i will join you once i got work permit or pr card but not now .. merry xmas and happy new year to all

That's quite unfortunate your lawyer did not discuss both outland and inland options. Anyway, hope you know that since you did your application inland, you can not leave Canada during the process? Did the lawyer tell you anything about having implied status?

To clarify, volunteer work that is generally not paid will not get you in trouble. You can look it up on CIC's website, the type of things you can do without a work permit. Anyway, the final decision is yours. Just try not to be cooped up at home all day, because it could lead to depression. Sending kind thoughts your way. Happy holidays and may the new year be a brighter one for you and yours.
