Hi,

I am looking to submit my inland spousal application (I am the PA) in the next few months. In Quebec, I won't have access to the public healthcare until I get the PR, so I need to buy a private health insurance for many months.

Does anyone have some recommendations? I checked the Blue Cross visitors insurance, but it only covers to $150k, it doesn't seem enough to me? When I buy my travel insurance, I buy the ones with $10mil healthcare cover... am I missing something?

Pre-Assessed..
There is a difference between Travel insurance and insurance for a resident of Canada. Not sure how things work in Quebec, but depending on how long you have been `visiting' Canada, you may be deemed a resident, even without having PR.

Now you can purchase travel insurance from The Co-operators online - it's fast and simple. If you're a Canadian resident or a visitor to Canada, visit our online quoting site to stay covered during your next trip.

You likely don’t qualify because you’re already in Canada. 10mil coverage is a lot for Canada.
