I applied for inland sponsorship. My husband is a Belgium citizen.

The dilemma we're facing now is. Unfortunately he fell sick here. And so we have to travel to Belgium for about a month as he got medical appointments there.

My question is: if we go and come back In a month, would this be a problem?

And if we get medical request from Canada during that period. Does it make sense to give medical exam in Belgium? Or we should call CIC to give us more time? What's better?

If CIC comes to know later that we went to Belgium and came back during the process, can they refuse our application?

Thanks

When did you apply? I would be careful about doing a medical abroad if you've applied Inland, but I'm not sure what the rules are with that. They can't refuse your application for leaving, but if you are stopped by border security and not allowed into the country, then your application will be aborted.

Thanks for the reply.

I applied April 22.

So you would suggest to extend the medical exam deadline?

Have you linked your application yet? Had Schedule A request? I just looked through other 2018 inland applicants on the spreadsheet, looks like many people from February and March haven't had to do medicals yet so I wouldn't worry too much. When are you planning on going? I don't think they will request it while you are away if it's soon. It might be a bit of a gamble but it's up to you to decide. Even if they request it in the middle of your trip, you have 30 days to do it so you can call and make the appointment for when you return.

I have not yet received AOR.

I'm planning to go beginning of June.

I already sent schedule a with my application.

Many thanks to you

Could you please send me spreadsheet?

I applied last Sep 24 under my husband sponsorship. Hopefully get a feedback after a month.

No they didn't question us anything at the border

Okay. And did your partner have a work permit or only a visitor status? Sorry for bothering you just looking for info!
