Hi everyone! It's guia here again.
I've been sponsor by my husband under the Inland Sponsorship and we just got the mail notification that my application has been completed and I'm waiting for the finalization. My question is, my husband would like to go to Cuba for a week to celebrate, can I leave the Country for a Holiday or do I risk that the re-entry will be deny?

Yes - there's always some risk, no matter how small, that you may not be allowed back in. Given how long you've waited - why risk it? Wait until after your landing interview to take the trip.

:( ooooh....really?...... Ok. I thought as my application has been approved I could travel outside Canada. It has been almost 2 years now, I was dreaming a little bit too much eh?....thank you

As Scylla said above, its better to wait and travel after your landing process. After all you've been able to wait this long so a few more weeks wouldn't be a problem.

I wouldn't take the risk so close to the end of the road, because when you are denied re-entry for some reason your application might be considered abandoned and you would have to start all over again. That's something I'm pretty sure you'd like to avoid since processing times have gone through the roof lately. Good luck though!
