My wife and I are about to send our inland application for permanent residency, and I have few questions..

1-the background declaration application asks you to provide your personal history for the last 10 years or since you turned 18, without leaving any gap. Does that mean that I can't leave any month out ?

2-On the spouse questionnaire they ask you to talk about how you met your sponsor, your wedding, honeymoon etc. When I'm referring to my wife. Am I supposed to call her my wife, my sponsor or just by her name ?

1- Yes, there shouldn't be any gaps. All days need to be filled.

2 - I don't think it really matters, I personally used the wording: "We got married on this and this day" and also I used my husband's name, but I don't think it is really important if you tell a story using the word wife or her name. You can write my wife Linda for ex. if you don't want to use her full name all the time :)

Why you are applying inland? Most of the time Outland application is much quicker. What country you are from?

1. you shouldn't.
if you had a vacation or other reason, you can put a month for vacation etc.

2. I put my husband name.

I put John (my husband) on the first sentence, then kept using my name. (did not call my husband or sponsor to avoid any confusion )

Thank you for responding. So, the whole time you only used your husband's name, right ?

Owl29, thank you very much.

So, I will have to use another page to do that cause there's not enough space, also they only give you the choice of month and year, not day..

I wrote " separate sheet on the paper" on the form and did whole history on separate paper.

Did you get your permanent residency or you are still waiting ?
