inland sponsorpship

Hi everyone, i am getting married in april 2019 in india and want my fiance (future wife) to travel back with me to Canada. I then want to process the paperwork for her sponsorship from here as an inland.
I am planning on having her apply for a TRV in January so she will have a visa for when we are married and she can travel back with me. would this cause any problems for the application? any thoughts on this would truly be appreciated.

It won't cause any particular problems. Just be prepared to do everything you normally need to do with a TRV, prove ties, financial capacity, etc.

thank you for the quick response.
thats good, i should be able to provide all that. my 2 concerns were:
1. her applying for TRV as my fiance and not having a marriage certificate and
2. depending on how long of a TRV she gets granted to be able to stay in canada till the sponsopship paperwork completes for her PR.

1. Fiancee is not a legal status. You will not be able to apply as a fiancee. She must apply on her own. She is single/unmarried until she is married or is commonlaw.

2. You renew TRVs to stay in status until the process completes, or you stay on implied status with other applications. You do not get implied status from the PR application itself.

I will note that if you spend considerable amount of time in the application having your fiancee describe you as her fiance, there is a risk that the visa officer will be concerned that your fiancee will overstay (especially since that is more or less what you are planning). Make plans for another reason for your fiancee to come to Canada, other than simply "staying with her husband until her PR application completes."

okay! that makes sense. thank you! will try and find a more compelling reason.
