My office- Nanaimo , went there in person and they said they will call me for an interview.

Short family history, married for 8 years three kids 17,7 and 6 . Been together for 10 years husband., canadian, kids, All canadian

Does anyone know how long it takes for a local office to recieve m file frm Vegrville?

From what I have read, it appears that files that are due to be transferred seem to take from 4 weeks to 6 months!!

Whether this applies to Inland, I am not sure but would guess Inland files were nearer the 4 week mark.

Why it takes that long, I think that might be like asking how long is a piece of string... :D

Thanks Angel...
. being am on an island, i think that sounds about right,.. hmphh .. Also i was told snow in vegreville affects mail delivery and in winter months mail comes out slower . i hope its not true!... i thought inland files would take longer since they were local!...
Does anyone who has had an interview have any input?. how l;ong after your status changed did you receive foss notes?. or did you know your file was recieved at your local office?.

foss notes have nothing to do with ecas status changing ,n you can get them through your cic local office whic is nanaimo doesnt take long, but if you ordered them from vegreville will take time, but reading can be a challenge
