I am Canadian currently outside Canada for the last few weeks and plan on returning to Canada with my wife and two stepchildren who have Canadian Visitor Visa.
I have a few questions. I will start a new job one week after we land and plan on renting Airbnb for the first few months. I want to know if I can start the inland PR sponsoring with OWP right away after starting my new job while on airbnb?
Is there a waiting period after starting my new job before I can apply?
Do I need to have an actual lease or is a long term airbnb rental valid?
How long does the OWP process usually take to be approved?
Also does anyone know how long to receive PR if applying from within Canada? I hope my step children don't need to wait too long before they can go to school.
