In CIC website it says:

If you are sponsoring your spouse or common-law partner, you may sponsor them under the Family Class or under the Spouse or Common-Law Partner in Canada Class.
  • What does it mean Canada Class in this sentence?
  • While filling Generic application from (IM0008) it is asking me to select the Category that I am applying for the PR. I do not see the Canada Class.
Can any of you please help me this?

Thanks in Advance.

Category is family sponsorship or family class which ever one you see.

Mine was marriage so my category was family. Should be the same for common law.

If you are applying as a Spouse or Common Law it will be under "FAMILY CLASS" BUT.. if you in Canada then it is In Canada. Outland if you are doing it from another country

You can also file OUTLAND while staying/living in Canada with your spouse. Choose whichever option you feel will be quickest, easiest for you.
