Hi guys! New to this forum and read quite a few pages of inland applications. I have a few questions and hope anyone could help me, thanx!

I am the sponsor and we submitted the application in early June but it got returned recently due to missing documents. I gathered the document they needed however, my wife's visitor 180 days duration was passed 2 weeks ago. She had her visitor visa which is still good for a few more years but she has been in Canada more than 180 days now. In the check list there is a line states that if the applicant has no status, need to have explanation on a separate sheet of paper, do we have to do that? Will my wife be considered no status in Canada right now? And if so,how do we prepare the explanation letter, will they return the application if we didn't say anything about it?

Secondly is the Generic Application form,on it there's line asking current country of residence and status, she put Canada and visitor, but after that is asking from what time to what time, in those two blanks, which date shall I put there, my wife's visa expiry date or the 180 days duration date?

I have all the docs ready but just these days questions confuses me of mailing it out again since we are afraid anything would result in returning of the application again.

Any input is appreciated, thank you in advance!
