Hi,

I am just wondering if there is a problem if I had submitted an inland application and gotten an OWP, but am traveling abroad for 3 months. CIC is requesting for a medical examination for my inland PR application now, can I do it at the area I am currently at, or must I return to Canada for the medical examination. Would there be an issue with my inland application considering that I've been traveling for an extended period or would I be denied re-entry?

Thank you.

Yes thats a big problem, 3 months is way too long and there's a good chance your app will be refused. If you wanted to travel so bad, you shouldve applied outland

Agree with above. The website clearly states that if you plan to leave Canada, you should apply outland. A basic requirement of inland is that you wlbe cohabiting with your spouse IN CANADA throughout the entire process. If you fail to tell IRCC about the absence, you will be committing misrepresentation. If you do tell them about the absence, you can expect your app to be refused.

Note that having the OWP makes zero difference to any of this.
