Initial response once CEC application is sent

Hello all,

I've been reading alot and I searched the boards before posting this... and I think I know what answers I will get when I ask... but I need to confirm it regardless.

I applied using the CEC application and they received my application from Fedex on Jan 24th... as far as I know, the initial processing time is about 4 months in which you get a notice from the government telling you they have received your application and they give you a number?? (not sure about this)

Now I'm not sure if that his increased because it's been 4 months and I still haven't gotten anything..?

Does anyone have a link to where I could possibly contact, and who to contact as well? Since I feel I should follow up with them at this moment... or am I just being paranoid?

If someone who is educated or has gone through this topic, could please advise on good steps to follow.. that would be great! Thanks.

According to Trackitt, the applicants who are currently receiving their AOR (Acknowledgement of Receipt) applied in December 2010. So, be patient. Possibly another month.

One of my buddies applied in Dec and he mentioned that he got his AOR in April, so I thought by me applying in Jan I would get mines by now.. but nothing. I hate this waiting game lol.. going to post an update once I receive in anything
