Is it a rough assessment that we usually do just to have an idea whether we reach the required score or not. Is there anyway we can get it done from CIC before launching our formal application and attach the positive result alongside just to make our case stronger ! Please guide.

No, you can not get a assesment done prior to sending the information from CIC. There is a tool on CHC website that helps you do the same
