I used to live in fort worth texas for over 25 years was born in mexico but was taken to the U.S sense 3 months of age i was recently deported did 4 months in immigration holding can i still apply for a work visa or residency in Canada?

Not a work permit. Any sort of temporary visa is going to be refused due to your immigration history in the U.S. This includes work permits, study permits, and visitor visas (eTAs / TRVs).

If you want to come to Canada, you need to focus on qualifying and appling to become a permanent resident / immigrate. Recommend you start by researching the Express Entry program.
