Information Needed - New Applicant

Hi Guys.
I have recently joined this group. I need some help.

Please anyone guide me how to apply for Canada immigration? Is it good way to hire an immigration agent or I can apply easily myself? Please provide me some links where should I start?

Also I am in occupations stream under 2174(Computer programmers and interactive media developers). I have bachelor's as well as Masters Degree in same program with 4.5 years of experience in this field and 6.5 each in IELTS.

What will be my points for 6.5 each bands in IELTS and what is fees structure for applying for immigration?

Hi Manish

First thing you need to do is go to this website and spend some time reading the information provided: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/

You need to do a little bit of reading in the URL to see if applying yourself is your cup of tea or not. Then depending upon your affordability you can decide whether to hire an agency or not.

Secondly - your IELTS score is: 5+4+5+5 = 19 (refer: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/language-testing.asp)

Your Fee and settlement funds depend upon the fact whether you are a single applicant or have dependents.
