info request: when does processing resume?

Hi there,

Last week I was asked for missing personal history details and forwarded to CIC (for an inland sponsorship application). Had been told to present the info within 45 days, but sent it back 3 days later.

Does it mean processing will resume only after the 45 days?

I'm fairly sure they will resume processing (within their normal timelines and workloads) once they receive the info. It's not a 45-day timeout.

They usually look into your file first chance they receive the update they had requested for. 45 days is considered a deadline for the requested info.
