Ineligibility in Exprese Entry

Hello all,
I have at least 5 years work experience from Nigeria,I went to school here in Canada, I am on a work permit. I was invited to apply as a provincial nominee in Alberta but have only 4 months (instead of 6 months) Canadian work experience out of the 18 months requirement. My Express Entry application is ineligble, what am I doing wrong?

You need a minimum of one year work experience to be eligible for express entry.

Sorry a minimum of one year Canadian work experience. I tried to enter the pool before I completed one year post graduation work experience but it came back ineligible.
