I am an indian and divorced since 2016. me and my ex-wife seperated using the customary divorce method on 100 INR stamp paper in regional language gujarati. in gujarat customary divorce is prevalent where couples separate without help of judge but the wish of both parties belongs to few of the casts and elders of the community which is legal in all of india and on indian legal stamp paper listing all the divorce related terms.
i am planning to apply for canada pr express entry FSW stream. my question is, is this document translated to english should suffice to prove my current marital status as divorce in canada?
