Indian Status Card and Immigration

Hi! I was born in the US and have US citizenship, but I have a Secure Certificate of Indian Status card and am registered under the Indian Act in Canada. I know by law I can move to my tribal lands and stay, but I was wondering if this would apply to off reservation as well or if I would have to apply for residency/immigration. Nía:wen!

No you would have to apply and get residency in Canada.
