Indian Citizens Visitor Visa on Arrival -

Hello Folks,

We submitted parents app for TRV on March 28th, online since then no news. Also I read the announcement on Visa on arrival. Does anyone has more info on it?

There is no visa on arrival for those from India visiting Canada. There is a visa on arrival for Canadians traveling to India. Not the other way around. Apparently some newpapers printed the information backwards. You'll notice the link you provided is now dead because the newspaper realized their error.

btw from 15th April, 'visa-on-arrival' has been renamed as 'E-Tourist Visa'.... the earlier name had caused misconceptions among foreign tourists who mistakenly considered it as a visa-on-arrival at an Indian airport.... it's an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) service
