BE Civil Engineering 2017 3.628 CGPA (out of 4.00)
12th grade 77%
10th grade 83%
IELTS not yet given
Due to coronavirus, many students who already got admission for Summer or fall intake for 2020 are now deferring to January 2021 intake, will this step make it more difficult for me (a new applicant for Janauary 2021) to get admission?

There's no data behind this but yes a lot of deferment is likely to cause admissions to be more competitive. Also, when people lose jobs, they go back to university.
