Incorrect CIT 0177 form (Residence outside Canada) on the government website

Hi there!

Am I dumb or it is the glitch of the website? How can I get correct CIT 0177 form? When I click on the link provided in the instruction and in the application, I can see only CIT0177E-2.pdf, this is for army forces.

If I google the form, I see only CIT 0177 E - is it something I need?

I feel complete idiot, but really do not want to pay tons of money for fees and get my package back.

BTW, I tried calling to Immigration Canada, no way they accept calls because of high volume. I bet!

Are u claiming as a crown servant?

I saw a video where someone was told, print it out and write NOT APPLICABLE on it and write a letter stating why it's not. Unless you in fact were a crown servant. There is an error but as it stands now, I would at least send something, they'll expect it. Check youtube for the video.

No Im not. I have just been living somewhere else and im not using the time i spent there

CIT 0177 form is for crown servants or if your spouse /Parent is crown servant and because of that you was out of Canada.
Don't send any extra form which is not required for you.

People got AOR although they sent this form does not mean you need to follow that .
In that logic you can send your 5 year Hydro bill (by same logic whats wrong in sending extra document to CIC, !!!)

It's just a suggestion rest your wish what you want to do with your application
