Hi guys,
So I am now getting ready to submit my eAPR to CIC. Before I did this, I decided to check the original application I submitted when I was making my Express Entry profile.
I noticed one small problem- my country of residence is listed wrong.
Now, some context:

* When I started my application, I lived in the US. That was what I filled in back then. The US address is what I applied to OINP with.
* I came back to India shortly after my OINP application was submitted. About a week or so after I came back, I mailed in an update of my address to OINP, and I am pretty sure I updated my country of residence on my EE profile too.
* OINP acknowledged my change in address, and I got my nomination from them, including the physical document, at my new address.
* For my current eAPR, I will obviously use my Indian address (though the American one will be listed in my history).

My question is this- considering that:

a) I distinctly remember updating my country of residence online (which seems to not have registered);
b) I updated OINP, and they processed my application with my new address on file;
c) That I will be using my current address to apply, with my US address in my application history;

Is the fact that the EE form I submitted says US as my country of residence an issue? I very distinctly remember updating it- I don't know why it still says US. I would update that information now, but the form is locked.
Is this going to be a problem? How should I go about this? Is a letter of explanation explaining the discrepancy enough? Or is this grounds for misrepresentation, in spite of my new address being on file, and me applying with my current, Indian address (obviously), and listing my US address in my history, in my eAPR? In that case, I suppose I would need to decline this ITA, edit the information in the form, and then wait for a new one.
Please advise. Thanks!

Why your new address was not registered with EE profile is irrelevant IMO. What is important is that you submit application using your current address. EE profile and eAPR are distinct from each other - information is transferred from EE to APR after you receive an ITA, but you are certainly allowed to alter it. People have changed NOCs after receiving ITA, so changing your address certainly will not be a problem nor will your former address in EE profile be of any relevance.

So it is perfectly fine if it still says United States in my country of residence in my EE profile? It's not something that I should submit a Letter of Explanation for, for example?
Thank you for your advice, btw :)

Will not hurt, but unnecessary if your US address is listed in address history. It will be fairly obvious to officer assessing your application if he even bothers to look at EE profile.

Thank you! I don't think I will bother- especially with my OINP nomination already having my current address on file, I don't think this is mostly anything I need to worry about, especially given that only the eAPR counts towards the application anyway :)
(Well, unless Somebody lies in their EE profile to get an ITA via misrepresentation, which is definitely not the case here haha)
