I have a question -- I'm applying under NOC 4131 (college instructor), have received the request to submit my documents, and am in the process of doing so. For the different jobs where I've been a college teacher, this is not a problem -- but the requests go back ten years, to the stage in my life where I was a temporary worker in various places. Some of my past employers have only the barest records of me, no job description, no W2 forms, no contract, not even salary, just notice that I worked there.

Does anyone think this will be a problem? I know that CIC doesn't care too much about the details of these jobs -- but at the same time, they want as much documentation of my life as possible, and beyond seven years, I just don't have that much.

Opinions?

I think the last four-year is very important to them to provide a detail letter of reference. In forms you have to mention your past ten years exprience if applicable. Eor whatever you claim you should provide an evidence whatever it is, better than nothing but last four-year shuld be detailed.
Moreover, if your employer doesn't give you a letter of reference, you can submit a letter with your application ad explain the issue.

Good luck.
