Income tax form from previous years

Hi..

Has anyone applied for a TRV for their relative, during the COVID-19 times this year.
For the application process, I want to know the following: (This is for the TRV application for my parents in India.)

1. Is the income tax return form required, from previous years? Since my dad has now retired, and my mom was always a housewife.
2. For the land property that they own in India, do they require to give the current value of it, in a letter (typed by an accountant)? Or, just the value when the property was bought?
3. For their marriage certificate, is the certificate issued by Church sufficient? Or, do they need one from the Government / State?

Got part 1 & 2 figured out... Got a asset/liability certificate from the bank. And got the current value certificate for land property. Just need answer to 3) .
