Hi All,

Great to find this forum where everyone can exchange informations. I became a PR in Canada last July but have been working with the Bank since June 2012.

My questions is, can I sponsor my parents (from China) in January 2016 with NOAs from tax year of 2012, 2013 &2014? Given I've joined the Bank since June in 2012, my income on that NOA is half of my annual salary, but just to confirm can I still apply with that? Or if I should wait till 2017 to apply with NOAs with three-full-year income?

You need three years of income that meets LICO. If your income on your 2012 NOA does not meet LICO - then you don't qualify for apply in 2016 and will have to wait until 2017. It doesn't matter what your annual salary was. What matters is what you were actually paid and what was reported in the NOA.
