Hello folks,
I hope I new this , when I submitted my sponsorship application for my mother 3 years ago. I did it on 2nd month after arriving to Canada as PR from States. In my income evaluation form I stated income in states and incom for the first 2 months in Canada. Few days ago, after 3 years of waiting, I received a reply from Mississauga with comment that I dont meet LICO ( low income cutoff ) requirements. They did not concider my income in States , because I did not declare it in to CRA. Hovewer I made far more than this limit. I did not declare it only bacause I was not Canadian resident when I earned it. So now, they said that "your relative/s ( mother) are still entitled to submit application for permanent residence however be advised that your ineligibility to sponsor will be a significant factor in the assesment of that application". I used to make and continue making enough money to meet LICO, but now its too late, the case was already sent to regional office to country where my mother reside, with comment above. If somebody had the same situation and found a solution, please let me know. For the rest of you folks, just keep it in mind.
Alex
