Hi

My question is for Quebec applicants. I have seen in this forum that some applicants are asked for proof of suficient income. However in Quebec application there is no document we have to send that can let them know our income. So I am wondering if they can ask us for some proof of income later in the process?

My application include only my husband, no children.

Thanks

It shouldn't be a problem. Quebec will evaluate that all on their own. I'm not sure what their qualifications are though. Maybe someone else can specify.

We went through Quebec and my husband was approved as a sponsor. I haven't seen anyone rejected by Quebec.

Québec does not have an income requirement for those seeking to sponsor only a spouse. Income requirements enter into it for sponsoring kids and other family members.

The application for the CSQ contains an information-sharing authorization, allowing them to ask after your file from Revenu Québec and from CRA.

Ok thank you. I don't think my CSQ will be rejected, but I'm just worried cause I've seen in other topic that someone have been ask for more proof of income at the end of the process...

Anyway maybe I overthink it, it seems very rare :) This hole process is just so stressfull
