I received passport request right after my marriage. As written in the cic email, I replied to the email provided with my updated status. A week later I received INCLUSION OF SPOUSE FORM in my cic account.
I sent cic an email attaching the form,marriage certificate, pictures and a letter of explanation which highlighted the events which led to my marriage. I have some questions regarding what will happen next..
-- What documents should my wife keep ready?
-- How long would the processing take? Will the processing be done together and there will be more PPRs? I got my passport back with a letter stating my application is now under review again.
-- Should I be mailing my documents to the email they provide in the PPR notification? I could not find any fields which could be updated on my EE profile.
Right now I can only wait for instructions from cic but wanted to be ready with documents/paperwork. If anyone has been through such situation, please share your experience and insights.
