Hello,

My husband is currently a United States Marine who just got an administrative discharge due to a physical condition. He is, however, considered to be under "inactive reserve obligation", even though he is no longer technically a Marine. He is under that for 5 and a half years. (Contracts consist of four years of active duty, four years of inactive duty)

Will this prevent him from being approved? (Outland Spouse Sponsership)

Thank you!

To clarify, I just want to know if him having "inactive reserve obligation" will cause the rejection of his application.

Why should it? Unless that he can't leave the US during his inactive reserve.
