I was a member of Road To Canada forums before the board vanished. I'm in the middle of doing a PR app for my hubby from the USA. I need lots of help and someone to confide in. Is there anyone out there? :'(

Thanks for replying to me I'm just working on forms and not sure on some things. Is it ok if he uses my mailing address for his mailing address? He's on a Vistiors Extension so we want the mail to come here if something comes from Immigration. They also want his Residential address and he'sa using his sisters address in the USA even though he doesn't live there.Also for his phone number can he use mine or his cell phone he has here in Canada? and lastly "Details Of Family Members" does he have to put me on there as i'm already a citzen here in Canada? The form we are doing is "Application For Perm Residet In Canada" and we are filing outland.

Yes, you can use your address as his mailing address and his sister for residence. Any phone number convenient for him is fine. I'm not sure about the details of family members part, since my sponsor was not "a family member", but if you post the question to the forum, someone else will know the answer.

He is required to include you in the form, since you are his spouse and you can mention that you are a canadian citizen. I did the same when I filled out my application.

So I have to put my picture on there too?Also they ask if I will be accompaing him to Canada...since I already live here what should I put? They also ask my occupation and I recently quit my job but am in search of a new one....

Strange, my inbox holds about 14 messages and is only 10% of capacity. Maybe it depends on the length of the messages, I don't know. But this I do know...Don't put your picture on the form. The IO will do it with one of the ones you have to send with your app.
