I received my 2nd AOR on 23\7\2010.....When will they change my e-case to "in process" ????

I am out of patience....

Hello louay,

It should have not taken that much. Usually, it's within 3-4 months to turn to In Process.

Since your second AOR asks you to contact them back if you don't hear anything within 8 months, then u suggest you wait couple of months more. I know this hurts and annoys but you need wait.

You can also write them about an update...

Also, don't trust eCas much... It's been having so many errors recently, so your case might be in process actually.

Hi Mezo2009,
In my 2nd AOR i was asked to contact them directly after 18 months if i do not hear from them. Right now at the moment i have ordered Caip notes and discovered my file is being processed by a french speaker and he knows just nothing about the process. He asked me for police certificate in USA when i attended only a conference for a few days and also asked me for a police certificate for London when he saw international certification that i took the exams in my home town. In a nutshell he is so confused with the file since he reads French and my docs are in English.

I asked forum members and they said i should write and explain that i do not need that police certificate. I have done so.

Ok my application is at Abidjan visa office and processing has been suspended for the meantime because of the political situation in Abidjan. They have directed all additional documents to be sent to Dakar, My question is does it mean processing will be taking place in Dakar Senegal? I am not sure just asking.

My 18th month is March and my BF'D date was 22.1.2011, Does it mean that they look at my file on the 22.01.2011?

Hi,

The date set in the 2nd AOR, I.e 18 months is the average. You need to contact them for an update. It doesn't necessary means that they will process your file on 22-1, I assume it's already in process.

For the police certificates for the US and UK, you are right. As long as you didn't stay there for six months and more. I hope this is resolved by now.

Email them for an update and let's hope you get an update.
