Hello,
today my ecas was updated and i saw my husbands file became İn process....Some people told me that the Vo change the status In process after they have checked all the documents and the elegibility....so as a conclusion they told me that i can be almost sure an interview is waived...what do u think about it?

No way. Documents and eligibility aren't why you will be called for an interview. It's genuineness of the relationship.

"In process" just means they have started looking at the file. It certainly does not mean the interview has been waived. And it certainly doesn't mean they have finished reviewing the entire application.

I think when it's decision made that the interview is waived ( not sure)
but in process means they are working on the case.
If the officer judges that he needs some clarifications, then he will call for an interview.
Nina, you should stop being so worried :-*
your husband file is in process, you should be celebrating that they are working on his file. :)
Do you have red flags? Why are thinking about interview?

Oh i understood...what i have seen in my vo,ankara office,is that when it says in process they dont ask interview, thats how ankara works they say but maybe its not...anyway i think we are in a good road,at least we have learnt they work on the file and sooner or later we will have some news...yes we do have some rwd flags, but at the same time we have and positive things in our case,f.e that i live with my husband in hid country for 2 years...thanks for the answers :)

That's good news Nina.

And yes, the Ankara VO is unique - from the information gathered from other forum members Ankara will request an interview before going "in process". Even unscheduled phone calls from the vo have been known to happen to clear anything up before "in process" is seen on ecas (quite literally - some other members reported getting a phone call and later seeing ecas updated to in process with the date after the phone call or the day after the interview). The majority of us before noted from our GCMS notes that eligibility (authenticity of relationship), medical and criminal checks are typically completed the same day as going in process. Background/security checks take longer. This doesn't necessarily mean your husband will 100% not be called for an interview, but from the info other Ankara members this is what we gather.

I remember the same happened for my husband. We didn't see the update on ecas until several days after. This is common for in process. You might want to send them another specific case inquiry about the address change to be sure: https://dmp-portal.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/case-cas-eng.aspx?mission=ankara
But as long as you gave them an email address they should contact you by email.
