I am a May'2011 applicant and my ecase is stuck at "in process" for last four months. Is there anything I can do to know what exactly is happening to my application or waiting for another two months be a better option. If my application is turned down at this stage, would I be intimated through email, snail mail or...! What usually is reflected on ones ecase status once the application is rejected at this stage. Thanks

Apply for CAIPS/GCMS notes

Looks like I will have to apply for CAIPS, but just want to know before that how much time does it take usually after being put into IP tii you get the MR ! I know there are a lot of cases who are under IP for a year or so now but I believe that it's not usual practice. Secondly what sort of info do we get after applying CAIPS and how much time does it take after applying for CAIPS till you get the reply. Thanks

You know this post made me really laugh,,,,you are in process since four months and complaining,,,I Have been in process since 5 years!!
There are people who have been in process since 8 year and their application has been canceled ,,,,,,,and in between come people like you to apply and 8 months later they are in Canada!!!
It is a corrupt system,,,,,what a shame !!

I was IP for 6 months 3 weeks and 1 day LOL Hopeful4 you must be a very patient person

good luck xx

My in-process is 7 months old...

@Hopeful4 - I fully agree with you that there have always been certain blemishes in their immigration process and the policies cic have been devising time to time. Mainly the game is about demand and supply, when certain professions are no longer in demand in Canada, they come up with new NOC list. There have been other factors though, like aged people prefer mostly to enjoy immigration benefits for their kids and themselves don't like to serve Canada through their profession and counted with low profile jobs and so on. And as a result individuals like us who apply as per prevailing grid system become the target when the new system comes up with certain preferences that we fail to meet......not our fault offcourse and thus putting us simply aside is totally unjust. There have been changes recently which gonna implement soon and unfortunately considering the new policy I become a totally unwanted guy for cic,..let's see what they do with my app.

@theshivster - thanks for the reply but honestly speaking I consider my case 50 / 50 and believe that only a miracle can bring something hopeful for me in near future.
