In person interview for PR card

My mom got a letter that states that she has to go in person on August 28th to CIC for an assessment before she gets her PR.

Unfortunately my mom is going to Malaysia on the 28th for 6 months so she won't be able to go for the assessment.

Would it be possible for her to go earlier for this assessment?

Delay the trip to Malaysia by a few days, depends what the priority is a new life as a PR or a visit to Malaysia. Not sure how easy if even possible to reschedule and although I have no insider knowledge doubtful able to bring forward as the date is possibly the earliest.
